Magnet clamping technology

Our magnetic clamping technology enables precise, secure and powerful clamping of workpieces in industrial applications. Whether for milling, grinding, drilling or welding - magnetic clamping systems ensure maximum precision, short set-up times and maximum process reliability. Thanks to the flexible handling, workpieces can be positioned quickly and fixed reliably without mechanical damage or complex fixtures.

Clamping technology - Explanation

The cutting performance of modern machine tools is enormous and is constantly being further developed. This makes it all the more important to achieve maximum utilisation of the systems, among other things by minimising set-up times. By choosing the right magnetic clamping system, it is possible to set up while another workpiece is still being machined.

Advantages of magnetic clamping technology

  • Uniform clamping force

  • No deformation when clamping bearing rings

  • Multi-sided machining in one clamping process

  • Greater availability through multiple occupancy

  • Achieve very high precision

Magnetic clamping systems are manufactured in three versions:

  • Permanent magnet system / manually switchable

  • Electro-magnetic system / electrically switchable

  • Electro-permanent magnet system / switchable by current pulse (de-energised during operation)
